June Chambers Cone

June Chambers Cone, 80, of Tallahassee, peacefully ended her journey with Alzheimer's and Parkinson in the compassionate care and love of God, her family, caregivers and the staff of Westminster Oaks Bertrand Health Center on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

June was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, on December 7, 1938, to the late Travis and Daphne Chambers and grew up in Bunnell, Florida.

June was married on June 16, 1957, to Gales Cone until his death on November 23, 2013. The couple lived in Daytona Beach, Florida, until May 2010, when they moved to Tallahassee, Florida.

June is survived by her sons Gales Cone (Robyn), Travis Cone, Daniel Cone (Lissa); granddaughter Lauren; sister Nancy Futch, and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 3:00 PM, graveside at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312. A reception will follow with a time for sharing personal stories about June.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made in memory of June C. Cone to the Alzheimer's Project, Inc., Duvall Home and Florida United Methodist Children's Home .
